MARVEL VS. BOM

One of my biggest dreams growing up was to have super powers. Who could deny that the ability to fly, or to shoot webs out of you're forearms, or to have Wolverines claws would be totally awesome. Those ability's to me would provide the strength to overcome any problem I ran across. If I was late to school or work, I would just fly. If there was a lot of traffic, I could shoot webs and be around the city in no time at all. If I had to defend myself, I could use Wolverines claws and fight off any enemy. Life would be a breeze, no worries, no problems. Oh, the life of a superhero. In life we all have those days that may bring us down. We may have days that challenge our faith, challenge our peace. We are apart of the last days, the final dispensation(a period of time when the lord speaks to prophets on the earth, has his church set up) before he comes again. The power he grants to us is the power of the Holy Ghost, which will prepare us to meet him again. In these times, we may feel like we need superpowers to overcome the world. We may eel we are alone, or that the world is out of control with its natural disasters, economy, wars and rumors of wars. But this is not so. The powers of heaven have been brought back to the earth again, restored through a modern day prophet named Joseph Smith. I exhort all to read from the Book of Mormon, to see for there self if it is not true. Those who pursue this course, asking in true faith, will feel the power of the Holy Ghost, the power of the Lord, that it is. It may not be as a flash of lightning, or a volcano erupting, but rather a still small voice that penetrates to the heart. The holy ghost speaks through feelings of our heart, peace joy, love, an through the thoughts of our mind. I know the windows of heaven are ope, that a boys prayer was answered, that God loves his children now like he loved them from the beginning. We may live in trying times, but the power of the Holy Ghost which leads us to know he is there, to know eternal truth, gives peace and light, purifies and makes us clean, guides us safely back home.
