EVIL VS.

GOOD

Good vs Evil, a timeless struggle. A necessary component for growth. Darth Sidious would have us believe that its GOOOOOOOD to be evil, that its OK to RELEASE YOUR ANGER, to JUST DO whatever you want in life. However, wickedness never was happiness. The devil will have us believe that it is.

In a like manner, he would have us become like him, instead of USING THE FORCE to become like heavenly father. "For we wrestle.. against powers, against rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."(Eph. 6:12) Jesus Christ has all power because he sunk beneath all things. He has the power to help us become his sons and daughters, become like him. Whomever we choose to follow, we will eventually become like. It is impossible to sit on the fence, for the powers are always acting on us. Its up to us to choose who we want to be. To illustrate this principal, I will share a story. Once was I was in High school, my friends and I were playing basketball at the courts in town. Some of my friends got bored, which led us to walk around the school after it was closed. I knew it wasn't the best idea, but I chose to follow anyway. After only a few minutes, we came across a trash can which we decided to tip over then run away. The Janitor saw us and ran after us, telling us to go clean up the mess. Because I chose not to listen to the promptings inside of me, I made a mistake, which I had to pay for. We all make mistakes, but each of us has the power to choose to not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Jesus Christ was sent into the world so each of his children would have the opportunity to return to heaven after we die. Only through his mercy are we saved, which can only be be accessed as we listen, obey his gospel. All who believe him, follow his gospel, will be given power to overcome the world, to become like him. Just like Yoda would be no good as a DJ against the powers of evil, only by becoming our best self will we overcome Satan. By listening to the spirit, we can put off the tendency to sin and become like our father in heaven.
